Barcelona 2.5-Hour Montjuïc & Panoramic Tour
Explore Barcelona’s waterfront area and see the blend of old and new at the renovated Old Port. Head up Montjuïc to see the Olympic Ring and take in panoramic views of the city. Tour Poble Espanyol and spend some free time enjoying lunch.
The waterfront is a living example of how the very old can be successfully combined with the very new. See the Old Port with its dock warehouses and the Gothic drassanes, or shipyards that have been preserved and incorporated into a renovated recreational area. This includes the Aquarium, the World Trade Center, restaurants, and cinemas.
Just north of the Old Port you’ll see the Olympic Village and Olympic Port, built for the ’92 Games, transforming an industrial part of the city into an area of apartments, beaches, a marina, and parks crisscrossed with bicycle paths.
Montjuïc Hill boasts parks, art galleries, museums, and the 1992 Olympic Ring of sports stadiums. Take in spectacular views over the city from the Mirador de l’Alcalde, or Mayor’s Lookout.
Take a break for lunch and visit the charming Poble Espanyol. Built for the 1929 Exposition, there are replicas of streets, squares, monuments, and buildings from around the country. This is the final stop on the tour, so you can stay as long as you like.
